Stephen Ball

I came to SJSU as a transfer student from UC Riverside, where I briefly majored in
chemical engineering. Upon transferring to SJSU, I decided to change my major to a
subject I wouldn’t mind studying for the rest of my life. I was then quickly drawn to
SJSU’s astrobiology research group through my passion for organic chemistry. Between
working with my teammates and helping discover the origin of life here and on other
planets, I see the chance to contribute to this research as one of my greatest
opportunities.
